Cursed World is an extensive and immersive Jujutsu Kaisen experience that apply dice to combat. We use dice for combat and combat only, and in a way that makes sense and fits the scope and world of Jujutsu Kaisen.

Over 1,000 years ago, Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses, was sealed in the prison realm by sorcerers from Japan's strongest clans. As they confronted Sukuna, he nearly annihilated them with his Malevolent Shrine domain. Close to victory, Sukuna was momentarily distracted, allowing a sorcerer to activate the realm. The realm reacted unexpectedly, slowly stripping Sukuna of his immunity within his own domain. Desperate, Sukuna used his body as a shield against the onslaught of his domain's slashes while the realm sealed him. In the process, his fingers were severed and cast out, scattered across the world, each retaining fragments of his power. Centuries later, a rogue sorcerer released Sukuna. Although weakened, he regenerated his fingers, but his full power remains within the lost ones. Now free, Sukuna seeks to reclaim his scattered fingers, threatening to plunge the jujutsu world into chaos once more. Welcome to Cursed Resurgence! A RP AU of Jujutsu Kaisen, with a new storyline.

The Heian-Era one thousand years ago is considered the "Golden Age of Jujutsu". A Modern-Era similar in environmental attributes to the Heian Era has come. In a surprise all-out assault from the Cursed Spirits against the Jujutsu Headquarters, as well as Yokohama and Kyoto Jujutsu High: both sides of the fray have been heavily damaged. The Cursed Spirits lost all of their highly reputable Special Grade Spirits and their First Grade Spirits. However, the Jujutsu Sorcerer side also lost all of their Sorcerers ranked above grade 2, leaving both sides highly crippled and vulnerable. The entire Jujutsu world has been flipped upside down as not only has Jujutsu gone wide-spread across the planet, with spirits and sorcerers popping up in nearly every continent on the planet: but the heart of Jujutsu itself, Japan has gone completely feral. However, can this new age of sorcerers contend with their ancient counterparts?

Based in Los Angeles USA, the American branch of jujutsu sorcerers has been revived by an influx of new students after operating for years on a short staffed roster of sorcerers as the frequency in curses has risen dramatically across the world in the last decade. With the Japan branch of jujutsu sorcerers all but having their hands full with their own issues due to the recent rise in special grade curse activity surrounding the consumption of Sukuna's fingers 5 years ago. The states have been mostly relying on the inexperienced or over confident help of newbie American sorcerers to deal with the up tick in cursed spirits while they scramble to train and teach them jujutsu to lessen the constantly growing work load.
