Discretion is the name of the game here, as the CVC is one of the only shifter-friendly academic institutions in the country. Being found out could lead to the dismantling of the school. In a world where many people are able to shift into animal forms, Canes Venatici is an unrivalled college that freely accepts shifters to study under its roof. Built in Milwaukee in the early 1840s, it's been standing far longer than any other shifter-friendly organisation in the continent. Its inclusive nature, sadly, also allows for absolute dickheads, and young adults stuck in the idea that social hierarchy exists outside of highschool. 2. Taking place in the year 2000, Blackwood Academy is followed by a tale of a castle built in the early 1600's during the Salem Witch Trials. The academy was built to protect and teach not only witches and wizards, but vampires, werewolves, and sirens as well. Due to help from humans aligned with these creatures, the castle remained secret for many years. Unfortunately it was found by hunters and mobs, who set the building ablaze. Years later the castle was rediscovered and rebuilt from the ground up, creating a safe haven for those born or gifted with unique traits and abilities once again, and continuing the legacy started by the first headmaster centuries ago. Today parts of the original building still stand, and students from all over the world come to find residence in it's dormitories. Will you be among them?
