XDC is a group who have been hosting various game servers over the years since we were founded in 1999. Many of us have been playing DayZ since it was a mod but it was only when covid hit that we were finally able to get into the standalone. We were struggling to find a server with the setup we wanted so here we are.
We are aiming for an improved vanilla experience, and so only have mods which we feel enhance areas which are weak in the vanilla game. This includes improved base building and raid mechanics, and a better variety of military items.
Above all though we are aiming to provide a DayZ experience which is as unrestricted as possible. To that end we are not imposing any unnecessary limits to bases, you can build any way you want to and as big a base as you want; and our setup is designed so that pretty much anything goes when it comes to raiding, other than cheating.
