The initial shock and denial by her appointed underlings gave way to a few Sweeps of tumult, followed by what can only be called 'tentative peace'. The throne has thus far remained empty under the protection of the Court, bringing about an era of self-regulating government underneath Legislacerative Guidance. The colonies are, for the first time, out from beneath the shadow of the Mad God Empress herself.
