The beginning of this story is rather simple; You are whoever you are from wherever you were before, whether it be a knight from ancient times, a shopkeeper from the present or even a doctor from the future! The details of your life before aren't what is important now, you have been taken from your home abruptly in a sudden flash of light without rhyme or reason and thrown into the world of Lavera through another yellow flash.
In this world you are capable of making your own choice and if you are a sane person then your goal should be to survive and find a way home; There will be others in the same situation as you are, perhaps you can make alliances and help each other towards a common objective.
