About Bot

This fully serverless discord bot is one of the first of its kind. Its goal is to handle core user-invoked moderation tasks better than any of the big bots, without cooldowns or downtime.

This bot supports the following features:
- Mass Ban!!
- Ban
- Unban
- Kick
- Mute with Reason / Timeout (new discord feature!)
- Warn
- View logs / delete log / clear all user logs

TheModBot does these tasks better than any other moderation bot. No cooldowns, or timeouts.
Things just work.

This bot is entirely serverless, one of the first bots of its kind! This allows for extremely high uptime and scalability. As a result, all commands are slash commands, which have the added benefit of input validation.

To get started using TheModBot in your server, an administrator will need to register each command to the server.

`/register [command]`

After this, an admin should navigate to `Server Settings` -> `Integrations `-> `TheModBot` to set up the command permissions.

Hey guys, thanks to those who brought to my attention the issues with the /register command. Discord updated how slash command permissions work and bots can no longer manage their own permissions (using Discord's permission system). As a result, I've changed that command:

/register [command] will now add the command to the server, and then an admin must go to Server Settings -> Integrations -> TheModBot to set permissions.

This is a bit unusual at first for those who haven't used it, but it starts to become very easy with practice. I hope you will take the time and give it a try! It's much better than my old system, even though it will take some getting used to. Sadly this change is inevitable as bots can no longer manage their own permissions, it must be done in Server Settings by server admins.
