Food supplies are becoming more scarce and there are too many people. The king is almost nowhere to be seen, and vampire attacks have increased. Priority is given to vampire hunters, and as the population increases, so do the killings carried out to maintain population control. The vampires, on the other hand, are leading opulent, happy lives. The people who feed people are happy, while people who feed animals lead quieter lives. The house of Brando has gotten more careless and , and the vampire hunters are becoming more enraged.
