Every June, we celebrate Pride Month to honors the history and achievements of the LGBTQIA+ community. The first Pride Month was in 1970, one year after the Stonewall Uprising in New York City representing a pivotal moment in modern LGBTQ+ rights movements around the world. Today, Pride Month is a celebration of identity and a reminder of the importance of equality, visibility, and support for everyone in the community.
This June, FishWiki is partnering with Pridebot, a multifunction LGBTQ+ Discord bot designed to improve understanding of LGBTQIA+ identities through a wide range of informative commands covering sexualities, genders, pronouns, and related topics, while also helping users explore and better understand their own identities. Beyond education, Pridebot features a fully customizable profile system, an Avatar editor with 60+ flags, helpful resources for coming out, mental health, and gender discovery through testers and communities, and a variety of fun, interactive commands that users can enjoy with friends.
