But, the drug was rushed to the market before thorough testing could be done, and the results were catastrophic. It triggered violent behavioral changes: an insatiable urge to devour the living, and a complete breakdown of basic survival instincts. The world collapsed in a matter of weeks. Governments fell. Cities were bombed to create a defensible perimeter, leaving only the most rural areas safe from the devastation. Trapped in the ruins of Marcheeleau, you were evacuated underground—into the abandoned subway tunnels beneath the city. The soldiers who saved you are long gone, and the darkness is all that's left. Now, you're left with one choice: survive.
